Energy: This video begins to capture the full import of BP's calamitous spill

There has been plenty of coverage of the oil gusher in the Gulf of Mexico, but nothing more impactful than this amateur video shot from a small plane over the spill by Tuscaloosa environmentalist John Wathen. Meanwhile, the New York Times (2010-05-14) reports the oil spill “could easily be four or five times the government estimate.”
