Given the news of the past few weeks from Appalachia (and the past two years from Wall Street), it might be worth pausing on this International Workers' Day to listen to the late troubadour U.Utah Phillips perform Les Rice's "The Banks Are Made of Marble," a song of solidarity made famous by the Weavers.
