The Democrats may gain the House, but control of the Senate is crucial, too. Consider this: in 2013, the six senior Republican members of the Judiciary Committee all voted against the reauthorisation of the Clinton-era Violence against Women Act. It ultimately passed the Senate 78-22, but the upper body has continued its rightward drift since then. Who wins matters. Vote.
